What is FormLab?
FormLab is coaching software for one-to-one fitness coaching, built around form video review. A trainee records a set and sends the clip. The coach watches it and leaves cues pinned to exact moments in the video, so the feedback names the rep, the joint and the second.
Is FormLab the same company as Formlabs, the 3D printing company?
No. Formlabs makes 3D printers and is at formlabs.com. FormLab is fitness coaching software at joinformlab.com. There is no relationship between the two. A separate disc-golf coaching app also uses the name FormLab at formlabapp.com, and is likewise unrelated.

How does form review work in FormLab?
The trainee films a set in the app and sends it. On the coach side the video opens with a scrubbable timeline. The coach pauses at the moment that matters and writes a cue there. Each cue is anchored to a millisecond timestamp, so the trainee can jump straight to it.
Does FormLab use AI to analyse my form?
No. There is no pose-estimation model scoring your reps. Every cue in FormLab is written by the human coach you are working with, after watching your video. The product exists to make a coach's attention visible, not to replace it with a score.

How is FormLab different from a workout tracker?
A tracker records what you did. FormLab is about what someone noticed. The unit of value is a coach's cue on a specific rep, not a chart of your volume. It does not replace a wearable, and it has no streaks, badges or levels.
Does FormLab work without a connection?
Yes, for the things you do mid-session. Sets, session notes and completing a workout are held on the device and sent when signal returns. Form videos are held too, so filming a set in a basement gym does not lose the take.
